Weekend Update!

Last weekend was further proof that John and I should have had Jack ten years ago. Saturday was a full, full day and we are still trying to recover. Throw in church on Sunday and we have been sleeping the sleep of the dead this week. The fun started bright and early Saturday with a birthday brunch for my sister and John. (Both have Feb. birthdays, so we just kill two birds with one party.) This get-together also doubled as a Valentine party for Jack. After lunch we went to a wonderful 1st birthday party for Jack's sweet friend Maggie. To say Maggie and Jack had fun is an understatement. There was CAKE and ICE CREAM - enough said!! Sunday, we went to church, came home and crashed. But not before Jack and I opened the wonderful gifts John had surprised us with for Valentines. John is so thoughtful and loves to surprise us. He did a great job this year. Thanks John!! We love you so much!!!!

Super Sunday!!

Here are a few pictures of Jack this morning before church. He wore his "GO SAINTS" t-shirt that Miss Suzanne made for him and he got a lot of compliments (even from little old ladies). We hope he brings the Saints good luck!!!

For Uncle Tom and Aunt Carolyn

GO SAINTS!!!

Jack is anxiously waiting for Super Bowl Sunday!! (You think I'm kidding, but he really does like to watch football.) And thanks to the very talented Suzanne Brister, he will be watching in style!! She made this great t-shirt and today was his first day to wear it. We wore it to town and people stopped us in Wal-Mart to ask where we got his shirt and to see how it was made. The shirt is a big hit!! We are even planning to wear it to church Sunday morning (Super Bowl Sunday) over a black shirt and with his khaki pants. Our church really gets into the Super Bowl and has a big Super Bowl party every year, so Jack will be doing his part.
Jack's Great Aunt and Uncle, Tom and Carolyn Young, live in New Orleans and I thought they might get a kick out of seeing Jack supporting the Saints.
Suzanne makes adorable children's clothes and is hoping to get a blog up soon. When she does, I will post a link.
