I guess you don't need me to tell you that it has been one HOT summer. We've played outside when we could, but we've really had to be creative with our indoor activities. Thankfully we had the wonderful summer reading program at the library, lunch with friends, and a new found love of play dough! The first few pictures are of the end of the summer program at the library. Jack received a certificate for participating. I wanted a cute picture of him with said certificate, but it came out looking more like a mug shot!!
End of the summer participation program. We weren't able to stay until the end. About 20 minutes in, Jack announced that he was "ready to go home". So we left. What he really wanted was to go out for lunch (which we did).
Jack LOVES play dough and it keeps him entertained for a very long time. It has been a lifesaver this summer. And it beats sitting in front of the TV.
I asked him to look up and give me a smile. And this is what I got.
He has quite the work station. He takes his play dough very seriously! And I have to admit, John and I have found ourselves having a lot of fun "helping" Jack create.
