We have an addition to our blog, to the right (just under the header), a cow! This cute button was designed by Jack's Aunt Nicole. She e-mailed me the graphic last night and I couldn't wait to get it on his site. His first cow. He has a cute old-timey stick horse, compliments of his Mimi, but this is his first cow.
Everyone probably knows John's history with cows, so we have to have a little something. There will be a cow print used in his nursery. Stay tuned, I will be posting a picture of the cute fabrics my mom bought for us to use in his room. My mom and Nicole picked everything out and I love it!! They are adorable! We can't wait to get started.

For the past few days, when I hit a link to one of OUR FAVORITE BLOGS from Jack's site, the blog will come up, but it is on a white generic background. It doesn't do it each time. It's just hit or miss. I believe is has something to do with our Blogger host. Each blog is beautifully decorated, so if you get the ugly white background, try again later.
Hopefully our host will get this worked out soon.
Good afternoon friends and family. As you will notice, I have been playing around with the colors on Jack's blog. While I liked the MSU colors, they seemed to "Grown Up". When Jack gets older, or if the MSU football team has a winning season (which ever one comes first), I will consider putting the maroon and white back up!
As I hinted in my last post, Jack has been very active this week. This is about the first week I have felt any movement. (Although my doctor tells me he won't stay still when she is trying to listen to his heart beat and we watched him play during the majority of his sonogram.)
Last Sunday, I downloaded several Baby Einstein songs onto my MP3. Every night, for about 30 minutes, I have been putting the head phones on my stomach and letting him listen to his music. He likes to dance! He really gets down to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Then this morning in church, when the orchestra started up, he started dancing around. He loves music. Just another hint of his little personality.
When music is not being played, his busiest times are around 5:30am, from 10:30am until 1:00pm, then again around 5:00pm, with a final performance during music time at 8:30pm.
Wouldn't it be great if I could keep him on this schedule after he is born? I can dream!
We are so excited about this mile stone and look forward to many more.
Creating this blog has been so much fun! It's become addictive, and now my sister has gotten into it. I added a section, in the right hand column, titled "Our Favorite Blogs". Many of you will know these families and I thought you might enjoy keeping up with them.
The first is The Brister's Blog. It was created by Davis Brister. He is the son of Ward & Betty Brister and the cousin of my very good friend, Betty Cummings. Davis and his wife Suzanne just had a beautiful baby boy - Jacob. I know those of you from Grenada will enjoy catching up with Davis.
The second blog belongs to my sister, Nicole. (The Graves' Blog) She just created her blog today. And she is already addicted to adding to and improving the look. We have been on the phone all day trying to figure out new tricks. NOTE: Uncle David, I will be calling on you soon to help us figure some things out! Nicole is very creative and talented. She is also a wonderful cook and will be posting recipes from time to time.
Well, that's about it for tonight. Jack has been very active today. I will update you on all of his activity in the next day or two. In the meantime, check out some of our favorite blogs!
