What's Going On?

Well, a lot actually. We have been very busy over the past several weeks celebrating Thanksgiving, preparing for Christmas AND Jack's 1st birthday!!! We had his party Saturday and the pictures are great. Jack's Uncle David took amazing pictures and I can't wait to share every detail. However, that will be a very long post that may take a day or two to complete. If I didn't have so much laundry to tackle tonight I would get started, but I don't believe John wants to go to work tomorrow in his undies. So, I will try to catch everyone up on the past few weeks in this post and I promise a great 1st birthday post later.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to meet Santa
at Very Mary's in Winona and had a great time!
For Jack's first time seeing Santa,
it went really well. He didn't cry!!!

Holding tight to his blanket.
It's ALWAYS with us!

You need a shave!

Jack having his "naaack"!
Honey Goldfish.

In his Christmas pj's.

The other night, there was a knock on the door,
and guess who! Santa stopped by for another
visit with Jack. This is right before his
bedtime and Jack wasn't very welcoming.

On our way to the town square to
look at the Christmas decorations.

All bundled up.

Please mom, enough with the pictures!

They were giving horse and buggy rides around town
that afternoon, but it was really cold and we decided to
wait another year or two so Jack can really enjoy
the ride. He did have fun visiting with the horse.
He loves animals!

These are a few pictures of the village
they have set up around the square.

The square looks very pretty and it made
for a nice family outing.
Well, that about catches us up. I will begin working on the birthday post tomorrow during Jack's nap time. I hope to be finished with it as quickly as possible.
