Happy Easter!! We have had a full day and it's not even 2:00. We arranged to have the Easter Bunny come a day early. I figured this would give Jack more time to enjoy his goodies and we wouldn't risk running late for church in the morning. So, when Jack woke up this morning, he had a few surprises from the Easter Bunny!

Not even gifts from the Easter Bunny could pry "Blue" out of Jack's mouth.
On our way to the Easter Egg Hunt at church with our new Easter bucket.
Our church goes all out for our children and youth activities. There were several of the inflatable bouncy things and slides, food, music. Jack was in heaven. He would stand in front of the music speakers and dance for everyone and he LOVED the big slide. (John, not so much.)
Here he is trying out the bouncy house. He liked this because he could do it on his own. Once we get to where we are going, Jack likes for us to leave him alone and he wishes we would let him run off and do his own thing. He is very independent and doesn't like for us to hang around. He loved this attraction even more when he figured out we weren't going in with him.

The Easter Egg Hunts are divided into age groups. Jack's group (2 yrs. old and under) was the first group to hunt for their eggs. They had hundreds of eggs scattered all over the gym floor. And after almost knocking down the door to get in, guess who was the first one in the gym. Jack!! Boy was he ready!

Jack found a huge egg with a Hot Wheels truck inside.
Jack and his sweet friend Harper ruled the Easter Egg Hunt. These boys brought their A-Game.

This is our sweet neighbor, Carley Brooke. Jack loves going to play with her and her sister, Peyton. On nice days when I have Jack's bedroom window raised, he will look out of his window and scream "Carley Brooke, Carley Brooke!!" She just got glasses and she looks so cute in them.

I tried to get a picture of Jack and Carley Brooke, but both were to distracted.
Once we got home and Jack got comfortable, which means taking off his pants socks and shoes, the real fun began.
Making a mess.

I had his new Easter bucket painted to match his keepsake Easter Egg this year. On both, the Easter Bunny is dressed like Woody from Toy Story.
The wind is blowing in Grenada, so that means our phone, Internet, cable and electricity will be on the blink ALL DAY! A storm blew through Wednesday afternoon and we were without power for 22 straight hours. Only in Grenada. So, I noticed that several pictures I wanted to post didn't upload, so I will try and post them later. Tomorrow we will go to church and then to the Branscome's for lunch. So I hope to have many more pictures to post. And I don't know how many people from our church read our blog, but I just have to say how much we love our church. And how incredibly thankful we are to everyone who goes to so much trouble to provide our children and families with such nice events. Every event is so well planned and no detail is overlooked. All they require of us is to show up and have a good time. They always take care of everything and we are so grateful that Jack has this church to grow up in. They made today so nice for our family!!
