Catching Up on Christmas 2

On Saturday, December 17, we had my family's big Christmas get together. We did it this way so everyone could wake up Christmas morning in their own home and not have to worry about traveling.

Harrison loved watching Jack's Thomas the Train. So what could we do? We had to drop him one in the mail the next week. Now we have 2 Thomas the Train lovers in the family.

Poor Uncle Sam! As soon as he walked in the door he was handed instructions for a cool Chuck the Dump Truck driving course Jack received for his birthday. We didn't even give him time to take his coat off. But he was the right person for the job because he had it put together and running in just a few minutes.

Jack loved helping.

Harrison sat close by overseeing production.

Project completed! It really is a cool toy. Jack loves trains, trucks, etc... Especially if they make a lot of noise.

Jack just had to sit in Harrison's Bumbo.

And here's Jack trying to get out of the Bumbo. Getting in was easier!

Sweet Harrison.

We had a great time celebrating Christmas together. This was Harrison's first Christmas and he was filled with Christmas spirit. He and Jack didn't nap that day, but they were the only ones. John told me later that he dozed off at one point and when he woke up, everyone was asleep but the kids.
