It was so pretty Saturday! We decided it would be the perfect day to blow up Monkey's swimming pool, the Easter Bunny brought him, and go for a swim. I figured he would like it because he loves his bath tub. And I was right, he wasn't the least bit afraid of the water. Our only problem was keeping him in his Bumbo. (The Bumbo worked great in the pool. John had to hold on to it, to keep it from tipping over because we had too much water in the pool. The Bumbo wanted to float. Next time we will use less water.) He liked it so much that after John drained the pool and it dried, we brought it in the house, still inflated, where it now sits in our foyer. It blows up in three different areas and I don't want to deal with it by myself if we want to go for a swim while John is at work. So it will be like a new piece of furniture for the summer. We don't mind, Jack has taken over our entire house and we love it!! At Wal-Mart a few weeks ago, I saw they sold bags of the ball pit balls. So I'm thinking, if the pool makes it through the summer, of buying a couple of bags and leaving the pool inside this winter. It will be like a mini ball pit. He will be walking by then and I'm thinking it will be a fun activity when we're stuck inside this winter. I realize there will be colorful balls all over the house, but it's o.k. - he's only little once!

Water Monkey
Monkey loved it, but it continued adding water
to the pool. So, we had to turn it off.
"Hey! Where did my water go?"
