Boys at Play

Today was our long awaited play group. And it could not have come at a better time. I think we were all ready to see different faces and get to visit. We were one mom and son short and we are looking forward to seeing them next week. I put out a few snacks. These growing boys like to eat, especially mine, who ate off of his, and everyone else's, plate.

We had to have Buzz and Woody plates and napkins.

Jack loves these strawberry, heart shaped marsh mellows.

Goldfish are always a hit!

Two types of mini muffins-
Banana and Carrot Raisin.
I like to make A LOT of these and freeze them.
Then when I need a quick treat - there they are.

Pretzels

Plain and Chocolate Animal Crackers.
And yes, you read me right -
CHOCOLATE ANIMAL CRACKERS!!!
They are delicious!!! John and I are addicted to them.
Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

For Christmas, my mother-in-law
gave me a French Press Coffee Pot.
I've been wanting one for a while
and I love it. I'm not a big coffee drinker,
but John is. And he loves my French Press Coffee.
No! The children did NOT get coffee. This
was for the moms. But I love my pot so much
that I had to take a picture.

Truett
The only other sweet little boy I know who
loves Toy Story as much as Jack.

Case
So sweet and funny!

I tried to get a picture of the three boys together,
but it was impossible. This was the best I could do.

Doesn't my son look lovely?
The sideways hat and one shoe.
Daddies, lock up your daughters.

Case loved the candy hearts that
I think taste so bad.

This is Jack after his 3 hour nap.
Lookin' good!!
And again with the sideways hat.

When you ask Jack to do something that he doesn't
want to do, he closes his eyes really tight and says,
"I can't see you."
We had so much fun today. We are so blessed to have such sweet boys, from such sweet families, to play with. These are the people we want Jack to be surrounded by and grow up with. We pray for it everyday. We are looking forward to many more play dates.

It looks like a fun time was had by all. Our Sweet baby is growing up. We are so proud that he is developing friendships. As we know, these friends will last a lifetime. Remember, Jack, Jesus loves you and so do MIMI and PAPA
