I know it's been a while since my last post. We have been very busy and I have the pictures to prove it. Since both Grandmothers have mentioned not seeing any new pictures on the blog, I figured I better take some time to catch everyone up on what Jack has been doing. (We have to keep those Grandmothers happy!) Jack had his 6 month check- up and shots a couple of weeks ago. He did great. He weighed 18 pounds and was 28" long. He made the car ride to and from Madison GREAT!! He slept, laughed and played. This was a first and also a turning point, because he has been doing very well riding in the car since then. We have been on the road a lot lately. He celebrated his first 4th of July, he got his first tooth (with another well on its way) and he is sitting up! Last week we went for an early morning stroll and found a turtle in the road. Jack had so much fun watching the turtle, I decided to bring it home with us for the day. So, I put it in the bottom basket of Jack's stroller and we brought it home. We had the best time making it a little home and putting it on the floor and watching him explore the kitchen. Jack really enjoyed him. We released him in the woods behind our house when John got home. We assured Jack that this turtle would not be his last. Jack is getting to be such a big boy. SOO much fun. He loves people, Dora the Explorer and riding in the buggy at Wal-Mart. He is doing good in the church nursery and loves watching other children. He is growing up tooooo fast. I've posted a lot of pictures. ENJOY!!!
