is 16 months old and wet all over? This little monkey! Today is Jack's 16 month birthday and we celebrated by, what else, playing in the water. And yes, that is his infant bath tub, but before any of you go feeling sorry for him, let me explain. Jack has a great swimming pool that we got for him last summer. However, it takes John, my Dad and 2 NASA engineers to get it up and running. There's a canopy over the pool, a little water fountain, 4 different air plugs, etc... So, it will probably be a couple of more weeks before we tackle that job. In the meantime, the baby tub and the water hose did the trick. As cute as the pictures are, John got some great video of our day as well.

With each post I keep meaning to write what Jack's been up to inside the house as well. He is talking up a storm. His new word, that he uses all day, is "cool". Everything is "cool". The other day, I told him when he finished his snack we had to run to town and he looked at me and said, "Why?". I said, "We just have to run a few errands." His response, "Why momma?" He has learned to roar like a lion and roars loud and proud. His new number is 6. And he will tell you that is comes after 5. He continues to tell everyone that he is 2. He is very big into his books and still adores Dora and Boots the Monkey. He has started carrying an old remote control in the car with us and when we get to a red light he hits the buttons. I made a big deal about him "changing the light from red to green the first time he took it with us and now we take it every time. He is still a great eater and sleeper. And we are CRAZY about him!
