Over the summer McKenzie participated in Kirk Academy's summer reading program - Mr. B's R.E.D. Program. Her hard work was rewarded a couple of weeks ago during a ceremony at school. Along with a certificate, she received a nice package of prizes that included free ice cream and a homework pass! McKenzie enjoys reading and has a big library of books in her room (and a big comfy reading chair). The above picture was featured in our local newspaper Friday.
