Do You EBates?

I do and I am loving it!!! For those of you who aren't familiar with ebates, let me fill you in. Ebates is a web site that PAYS you for shopping. What!!! Am I insane - NO! Have I been drinking - NO! Ebates.com has hundreds, if not thousands of partners, Wal-Mart, J.Crew, Old Navy, Gap, Barnes and Noble, AT&T (just to name a few). And this is how it works, you go to http://www.ebates.com/ and register. You don't give them ANY of your financial info. unless you want your money deposited into your checking account, I opted to have my checks mailed to me. Every time you get ready to order on-line, log in to your ebates account and click on the web site your shopping on through the ebates site. A percentage of what you spend goes into your ebates account and every three months they send you a check. Different stores offer different percentages. Wal-Mart only offers 1% back. AT&T offers $50.00 back for every $100.00 you spend, other stores offer anywhere from 4% to 9% back per purchase. There is also a Daily Double and the store highlighted that day offers you double back on their everyday percentage. And you have access to great coupons! Just about any store you can think of participates in ebates, so it shouldn't be hard to find the store you're looking for. Oh, ebay also participates. Some women, on the other blogs I follow, were earning $200.00 to $400.00 back after doing their Christmas shopping online through ebates. Also, after you register, you will be able to follow your account balance every time you log on. You get $5.00 just for registering! I was so excited when I received my first check!

I know, now that I have Jack, I do the majority of my shopping online - especially around Christmas. It's just easier. And I always upload my photos to Wal-Mart's web site so my pictures will be ready by the time I go to pick them up, so now I earn a little money back every time I order my pictures. Although I have to say, I am a little disappointed that a company as big as Wal-Mart only offers 1% back. I think they could do a bit better.
